The map on our homepage
Our locations map is provided by Mapbox. When the map loads, the Mapbox library stores an identifier in your browser’s local storage under names beginning mapbox.eventData, and your device’s IP address is visible to Mapbox because the map images are requested from their servers.
We have switched off Mapbox’s usage reporting, so no record of the maps you look at is sent to them. The identifier is still written by their library; we cannot prevent that while the map is on the page. You can clear it at any time by clearing site data for this website in your browser.
If you would rather it were not stored, our office addresses are listed as text beside the map and in full on our contact page, so you never need to load the map to find us.
3. Services we link to, and do not embed
Our online courses are sold and delivered by TalentLMS, and our certificates are hosted by EASA. Those are ordinary links: nothing from those services runs on this website, and they only learn about you once you choose to go there. Once you do, their own policies apply.
4. Why there is no cookie banner
A consent banner exists to ask permission before something non-essential is placed on your device. We place nothing of the kind, so a banner would have nothing to ask about, and a banner that asks about nothing only teaches people to dismiss banners without reading them.
If we ever add analytics or any other service that stores information about you, we will add a banner that genuinely blocks it until you agree, and we will update this page before doing so.
5. Controlling what is stored
Every current browser lets you view and delete stored site data, and block it for individual sites. In Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge this is under the privacy or site settings section. Blocking storage for this website will not stop you using it; at most, the map may not appear.
